The
Pope and the nuns
Some nuns, days ago, have been allowed to greet the Pope, in Naples.
The scene that was born is one of the most beautiful that I have observed in my entire life.
Beautiful. Poignant. Exciting.
Fantastic.
Someone will have rice. Someone will be surprised. Somebody hath turned away, perhaps interested in other things.
The hands of those women who sought those of the Pope, the caresses, the words.
The absolute love. The unwavering faith. The smile of their soul.
Fantastic.
Wonderful.
And the words of the Pope, surprise, uncomfortable.
And Cardinal shouting "Ammuina, Ammuina!" (Chaos) and "enough, enough sisters!" In a tone of good-natured and amused.
Kaspar: Have you moved?
Sergio: Yes. I envied those nuns for their certainties and to their delight.
Kaspar: Did you cry?
Sergio: Yes ... I found myself cheeks wet ... Pure joy ...
Kaspar: Those images have hit me too. I think the Absolute, however, let me tell you, it can lead to fanaticism, violence, horror, death ...
Sergio: I'm talking about the Good.
Kaspar: ... I understand.
